Abstract

The issuance of the Head of Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) Regulation Number 3 of 2016 concerning Technical Specifications for Village Map Presentation, underlies this research to analyze the preparation of the Telap Village Map of Eris District, Minahasa Regency, which is used as a medium for improving village status. This analysis includes an assessment of the suitability of layers in each type of Village Map, the position of thematic objects, and clarification of administrative boundaries that are technically applied. The methodology applied is cartometric, which is a method of tracing and drawing boundaries on a working map as well as measuring and calculating point positions, distances, and areas using base maps and other complementary maps. The research resulted in three types of village maps: image map, facilities and infrastructure map, and land use map. The suitability of layers on the image map, facilities and infrastructure map, and land use map were 71.42%, 75%, and 71.42%, respectively. For the optional layer, the suitability of each is 25% and the suitability of the conditional layer is 100% for the three types of village maps produced.
