Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Di Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Moyongkota Baru Di Tengah Covid-19

Abstract


Discipline is a process to train the child's mind and character in a row, so that they become someone who has self-control and is useful to society. The purpose of this study is to (1) describe the formation of student discipline, (2) describe the supporting factors for the formation of student discipline character in the classroom, (3) describe the inhibiting factors in the formation of the character of the discipline of class V learners. this type of finding is qualitative, while the research method used is a case study. And the object studied is the formation of the character of the discipline of class V students at SD Negeri 2 Moyongkota Baru Amid Covid-19. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation which are then analyzed with data reduction steps, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that habituation in student activities in learning and student activities at home. When students move in school, teachers become role models and always give reprimands or sanctions against students who have violated school rules. Likewise, when students at home researchers ask parents to always discipline children's time and supervise them to always follow a predetermined study schedule. The supporting factors for the formation of student discipline in class V are the cooperation of the school with the parents of students, control of teachers and parents. As for the inhibiting factors of the formation of the character of the discipline of learners are the environment, the limitations of mobile phones and friend factors.
